Setup differs by agent, and each one knows its own. Paste this to the agent you intend to use, and follow what it tells you.

Agents that accept a bearer header connect with this key directly. Claude Code and the Gemini CLI both do.

Claude.ai and Claude Desktop

Add VecViz as a custom connector — available on every Claude plan, including Free. Go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise account an owner adds it once under Organization settings → Connectors, and members then connect. The server URL is:

Two choices in that dialog decide whether it works:

• OAuth client — choose “No client ID — register one automatically”. Do not choose Anthropic’s hosted client metadata, even though it is marked recommended: VecViz’s sign-in does not advertise support for it, and the connection will fail.
• Sign in with the email you subscribed with. Your plan is matched to your subscription by verified email address. Any other address still connects — it just sees the free ten-ticker set, with no error to explain why.

If your account offers Request headers — a beta, so not everyone has it — you can skip the sign-in entirely: set Authentication to “None”, then add the header authorization with the value Bearer followed by your key. Claude sends it exactly as typed, so the word Bearer and the space matter. Note that a header credential is shared by everyone on the account rather than held per person.
